1. Using the basic sweet roll dough, roll each half into 12x8-inch rectangle. Brush each with half the melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over dough. Sprinkle with raisins, if desired. Roll up each piece, starting with long side; seal seams. Slice each into 12 rolls, Place rolls, cut side down, in two greased 9x1½-inch round baking pans. Cover and let rise til double (about 35 minutes). Bake at 375 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.
2. Confectioners' Icing---Combine 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, ¼ tsp. vanilla, and enough milk to make of drizzling consistency (about 1½ tbl.) Ices 2 loves. Drizzle Icing over warm rolls.
